FumeFX 7 introduces NodeWorks Ocean, a GPU-accelerated ocean simulation system built directly for 3ds Max. It delivers physically accurate ocean surfaces with spectrum-based wave models, adaptive meshing, and real-time foam, spray, and bubble effects. Objects interact naturally with the water through true two-way coupling, generating wakes, ripples, and buoyant motion. Artists can layer wave types, blend them seamlessly with noise, and eliminate repetition for cinematic results. As with previous releases, the subscription model ensures continuous development, delivering regular updates, refinements, and new tools to keep pace with the industry’s evolving demands.
